Work With Me

Available for Work Staff roles & freelance projects

Transparent pricing.
Senior-level work.
No surprises.

I'm a Senior Visual and UX/UI Designer based in Portland, Oregon. I work with small businesses, startups, nonprofits, and agencies who need a reliable creative partner — whether that's ongoing hourly support or a defined project from start to finish.

Here’s how we’d work together.

Every project starts with a conversation — not a contract. I want to understand what you're building, what's not working, and what success actually looks like for you. From there, the process is structured, milestone-driven, and built around clear communication at every phase.

01 Discovery

We align on scope, goals, audience, and timeline. I ask a lot of questions here — the more I understand your business, the better the work. This phase ends with a defined project scope and engagement agreement before any design begins.

02 Concept & Direction

Initial concepts, directions, and design decisions are developed and presented for feedback. For brand projects this means logo directions and system concepts. For web projects this means page architecture and design language. This is where the creative work begins in earnest.

03 Refinement

Structured revision rounds keep the work moving forward without scope creep. Each project includes defined refinement rounds — feedback is consolidated, changes are implemented, and we iterate toward the final deliverable together.

04 Delivery & Launch

Final files, handoff documentation, and launch support. For web projects this includes QA review and deployment coordination. You leave with everything you need to maintain and build on what we created together.

Ongoing support & retainer work.

Hourly engagements are my preferred way to work for ongoing clients, retainer relationships, and projects where scope is fluid or evolving. You get senior-level design thinking applied exactly where you need it, without committing to a fixed project scope upfront.

Hourly Rate

$85/hr

Starting rate — billed in agreed increments

Best for ongoing design support, agency partnerships, retainer relationships, and projects where scope needs to flex. Minimum engagement and billing structure confirmed at kickoff.

Defined scope. Defined deliverables.

Project-based engagements work best when the scope is clear and the deliverables are defined. All project rates are starting points — final pricing is confirmed after a discovery conversation and scope alignment. Printing, external vendor fees, WordPress themes, premium plugins, and stock image licensing are billed separately.

Mission-driven work matters.

I offer discounted rates for nonprofits and small community organizations. Good design shouldn't be reserved for organizations with large budgets. If you're doing important work on a limited budget, let's talk about what's possible.

Open to the right opportunity.

I'm also open to full-time staff roles — specifically senior-level in-house or agency positions where design is taken seriously and there's room to do meaningful work. If that sounds like what you're building, I'd love to have a conversation. Reach out and let's talk.

Creativity doesn't stop at my desk.

I find inspiration in motion, curiosity, and making — whether I'm on the water, under a car hood, stitching something new, or streaming online.

After buying my car, I found myself drawn even deeper into techno and making Spotify playlists. There's something about the steady beat that makes driving around Portland feel immersive and meditative — my 2020 VW Jetta has become a little sanctuary on wheels, a space where I can think through design challenges or just let the music carry me.

Techno is my go-to genre whether I'm running, cruising, or deep in a project. Here's what's been fueling my focus.
